UNWRITTEN generates a personalized interactive story for you using AI (Anthropic's Claude), based on details you provide. Story content is generated dynamically and may vary between playthroughs, even with similar input.
Don't use UNWRITTEN to generate, request, or submit content that is illegal, that sexualizes minors, that provides real-world instructions for violence or self-harm, or that attempts to manipulate the underlying AI system to bypass its safety guidelines. We reserve the right to restrict access for abuse.
Anything you type into the app (your name, job, feelings, and free-text choices) is used solely to generate your story, as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain no special ownership claim over AI-generated story text beyond your right to read and share it personally; we don't claim ownership of it either.
Coins are a virtual in-app currency with no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real money. Coin packs are one-time, non-refundable purchases (subject to the refund policies of Google Play / Apple App Store) and are consumed as you spend them — they don't expire, but they also aren't transferable between devices or accounts, since UNWRITTEN doesn't have a server-side account system.
UNWRITTEN+ is an auto-renewing subscription. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, through your Google Play or Apple App Store account settings — not through the app. Pricing is shown at the point of purchase and may vary by region.
UNWRITTEN is provided "as is." AI-generated content can be unpredictable — we don't guarantee that every generated story will be free of errors, inconsistencies, or content you personally find objectionable, though we do apply content filtering. We aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
The app relies on Anthropic (story generation), RevenueCat (purchases), and Google AdMob (ads for free-tier users). Your use of the app is also subject to the applicable terms of Google Play or the Apple App Store, whichever you downloaded it from.
We may update these terms as the app changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
